About this site...

Unlike the site that now appears at www.questy.net, that originally started out here, this site will worry less about being "proper," both in content and structure. After all that's why I call it my playground. If I want to be a little crazy in content and design, I'll try it here first.

As always this website is always under construction. The future of the Web very much overlaps my professional life as well as my personal interests. Electronics, technology, photography, writing and public speaking, have all been hobbies of mine throughout my life. All of these topics have at one time or another been a part of my professional life, either as full time professions, as well as part time passions. The Web allows me to bring them all together. As the Web grows, and hopefully I do along with it, the future is as open and limitless as our imaginations.

Copyrights and Clip Art

What is the definition of original? How will the Web change and formulate copyright rules? Those are very debatable questions. Let me make my stance very clear. There are occasionally a few clips of "public domain" clip art on this site. Personally, I'm trying to use as much original clips as possible. I am not a graphic artist. This is not a source site for clip art, (or reusing my written words for that matter.) Please, be polite, if it's not public domain,do not reproduce or redistribute anything you find along the web without asking!

I have very carefully used quotes of other people to illustrate my ideas, as well as use my ideas to illustrate the ideas of other people. The questions will become more difficult as the web grows... What is the definition of original? How will the Web change and formulate copyright rules? In my links section I have many areas for further review. My intention is not to recreate someone else's work. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or reposting of any of the pages of this web site is a illegal, not to mention rude.

Closing thoughts ...

As you go through this web site, you'll hopefully feel its spirit. It is here simply to share my ideas, and have some fun along the way. Please feel free to express your thoughts. If you see something I'm doing or saying that just plain doesn't look right, or sound right, let me know. It's quite possible that was the page I edited at 3:00 am, and it lost something along the way.
